San Francisco School of Digital Filmmaking (SFSDF) will be hosting an informal discussion/mixer on December 4th at 7pm.
Writer/Director James Savoca will discuss the process of raising funds for a low budget independent feature, casting and directing actors, writing for a small production and advice for the next wave of up and coming filmmakers.
Besides a great talk, this is an opportunity to meet students from other departments, share ideas, and learn more about the other parts of the school. We've got an amazing, deeply talented bunch of folks here at SFSDF across the full range of the filmmaking industry. It's high time we meet each other and see how we can work together.
Feel free to bring something to nibble on or drink. And if you have a friend that isn't part of the school, bring 'em! They are welcome.
Please RSVP through this site.
